2023 Request For Applications (RFA) Announced

The North Central Extension Risk Management Education (ERME) Center,, in conjunction with the Northeast, Southern, and Western Centers announces a competitive funding opportunity for educational projects designed to help agricultural producers improve their economic viability through targeted risk management strategies. The Centers expect to award grants through two program areas – Education Grants and Producers Underserved by Crop Insurance Grants.

2022 ERME National Conference Now Available Online

It was wonderful to see everyone face to face again at the recent 2022 ERME National Conference.  The 2022 Extension Risk Management Education National Conference in Omaha, Nebraska was success. We had 185 register for the conference, from all over the United States. We had two 75 Minute Professional Development session, 43 concurrent sessions and 22 posters.

2020 North Central Outstanding Project Award

North Central Outstanding Project – The 2020 Outstanding Project for the North Central Region is “So You’ve Inherited a Farm, Now What?” This project by Nebraska Extension educators Jim Jansen and Allan Vyhnalek was delivered in 2017-2018.
